FanDoodle has
created a new, patent pending way to distribute music where Fans get
paid to promote music. They (the Fans) get 20% of the proceeds of
each album sold as a result of their promotion activities. The way it works is:
Fans get code for special banner ads at FanDoodle and promote Artists by
placing these banners on their MySpace pages, blogs, web sites, etc. or by using these banners in
email campaigns. In addition to providing the banner ad code, FanDoodle tracks
all purchases, handles payments to Fans and Artists, and handles fulfillment
(unless a record label is involved and wants to handle fulfillment). FanDoodle
fosters a true partnership between Fans and Artists.

way - Fans tell others about great music. They go buy the music at the music
store or iTunes. The record store and iTunes get paid.

Not only are independent Artists producing material of a quality comparable to that of the major labels, but Fans have more influence than ever in determining which Artists and material will make it. This influence is achieved through their own websites, blogs, MySpace and Facebook pages, etc. What if...Fans had the opportunity to make real money by supporting their favorite Artists? FanDoodle.com has opened a new chapter in the changing media landscape by making Fans financial partners with Artists. Just think about that - Fans become connected in a way they never have. Loyal Fans can be rewarded with the opportunity to release new material for Artists. Fans who sell a lot of an Artist's material can be rewarded with incentives like free concert tickets, backstage passes, tee shirts, a night out with the band - you get the picture, kind of a frequent flier program that Fans paticipate in. Here's how it works: Artists invite Fans to be partners. Fans are directed to an Artist's page at FanDoodle.com where they get code for banner ads and text links. These banners and text links take visitors to a page where the Artist's CD is sold. Fans insert this code in their web pages and emails and get paid $2.00 - $4.00 per CD sold.
